➨ Discover your wanderlust and get in shape while you're in Tenerife. After a restful night at your private flat, you can join an intensive beach bootcamp. Let Steve Coster motivate you and begin the day in top shape. During the beach bootcamps, you will meet other like-minded people who will inspire and help you to get through the workout with ease. You will quickly get to know the various advantages of a sports sessions on the beach. Above all, you will not only get fit with this exhausting workout, but you will most certainly also have a lot of fun with the other athletes.

After enjoying a healthy breakfast, you can do an intensive 1: 1 workout with your personal trainer and work on your individual goals. If this isn't enough, and you still feel like some more training, you can join the Workout of the Day at the box of CrossFit 27:  Improve your strength, endurance and CrossFit specific skills. In the wake of an intensive class, you deserve to have some rest and enjoy the beautiful island of Tenerife :)

Training is over, the fun continues...

Following multiple workouts in the morning, you deserve to treat yourself to a healthy lunch, refuelling your energy level. A quick nap or a stroll along the famous beach promenade is the perfect start for the rest of the day. The beautiful sandy beaches Playa del Duque or Playa Torviscas are ideal to spend the afternoon at, sunbath, relax, and just enjoy the sunny weather.

Finish the day with a beautiful and relaxing sunset yoga class and calm your mind & body. You will see that the slow-paced Hatha & Restorative yoga is complimenting your high-intensity workouts in a perfect way.

At night, the Costa Adeje also has lots to offer. Listen to live music in one of the good & very affordable beach bars, or stroll along the beach promenade with its numerous bars, restaurants and nightclubs - there is something for everyone.

Fitness Program in Tenerife, Spain

Whether you are looking to get started with CrossFit or if you are already practising this amazing and intensive sport, this package helps you achieve your individual fitness goals while on holidays :) Although this fitness holiday is available for all fitness levels, we do not recommend it if you are a complete beginner and aim at losing some weight. Neither do we recommend it if you suffer from a recent injury. If you are unsure if this package is right for you, just contact us, and we will get back to you asap. As this fitness holiday includes, in addition to modern accommodation & a healthy breakfast, a CrossFit membership for the entire duration of your holiday -all CrossFit classes (WODs) & all open gym sessions- you can look forward to daily (Mo. - Sa.) fun & intensive fitness sessions. Reach your limits during the Workouts of the day (WODs) or improve your skills during your personal training sessions. Our qualified coaches will help you to achieve your goals - no matter if it's handstand walks, muscle-ups, or snatches... If you look for some change in your fitness routing, check out the fun and functional morning beach workouts. Alternatively, we really recommend the sunset yoga classes, which compliment your CrossFit27 program perfectly.

CrossFit 27 - High Intensity Workouts with Focus on Strength, Gymnastics & Endurance.

Classes run Monday through Friday from 09:00am until 21:00pm and Saturday at 11:00am (view class schedule below).
Look forward to training in this large & fully equipped CrossFit box and get to know the qualified coaches. Benjamin and his team speak Spanish, English and German. Overall, you can expect a very friendly atmosphere with young coaches and an amazing community consisting of local and international athletes.

Workouts of the Day (WOD)
The various courses / WODs offered usually last one hour, and are kept with an average of 8 participants relatively small to ensure intensive supervision. During the week, the max. number for one class is set to be 15. However, on Saturdays the group class can be larger, as there is only one workout happening (HERO WOD). Even though, you might want to take the day off, we highly recommend joining the Saturday workout, as it is extremely intensive and always super fun :)

In general, the classes consist of 3 sections and focus on technical & functional exercises. A class / WOD typically starts with the "WARM UP", which includes a general and specific warm-up program, as well as technical movement sequences for the exercises to follow. The second part "STRENGTH & GYMNASTIC" is the technical part of the workout and focuses on the improvement of movements such as snatches, handstands / handstand walks, squats and much more. The third and final part of the workout is called "METCON" which stands for Metabolic Conditioning. This is typically a high intensity workout to make you sweat. An example of this could be: 5 rounds of 20 push-ups, 20 GHD sit-ups, 20, squat jumps, 200 m run, and 2 rope climbs.

  • Exercises can be scaled to meet the fitness level of every Travelling Athlete.
  • Each day the workout changes. So joining two classes per day is not recommended as it's the same workout).
  • During opening hours, you can train at any time and use all facilities freely.
  • During classes, a trainer is present at all times to support you with the exercises and to correct your postures and movements. Of course, this also motivates you to make the best possible progress.

 

Personal Training
We will provide you with the phone number (WhatsApp) of the coach, so that you can schedule your personal training sessions.
The duration of one personal training session is 60 minutes. Together with your coach, you can decide on the content of the session and thus focus on your individual goals.

 

What to expect: Daily Beach Bootcamps.

Beach Bootcamp
Monday through Friday, we offer intensive bootcamps at the beach. So enjoy a morning workout from 07:30 – 08:30 on Playa La Pinta and get fit directly on the sea.

These sessions on are mainly made up of body weight exercises, circuits, sprints and shuttle runs. As a highlight of the week, you can look forward to every Friday morning, where a Navy Seal style training is offered including Military style exercises in and out of the water. → Make sure to bring a change of clothes and a towel.

These classes are designed in such a way that they are suitable for anyone, regardless of age, weight or physical ability. During the classes, you will feel a great sense of camaraderie. The group at the bootcamp are friendly and supportive. No one will ever laugh at you or make you feel uncomfortable. In contrast, the whole group will help motivate you to do the best that you are capable of.

Steve Coster - a well-known fitness expert will get you back into shape...

During this fitness holiday package in Costa Adeje, Tenerife you can look forward to getting to know the famous fitness expert, Steve Coster (5/5 stars on Google with over 70 ratings | November 27, 2020), and to be looked after intensively by him. The friendly Scot has been committed to sport, especially various martial arts, for more than 35 years. Among other things, he trained hundreds of athletes, professional athletes, as well as people from the police and the military. Thanks to his background, he displays the perfect requirements to look after and motivate you during your morning beach workouts in Tenerife.
Due to Steve’s various qualifications such as Krav Maga & Kapap (type of self-defence used, among others, by the Israeli military) the training is also extremely diversified. The different courses offered usually last 60 minutes. In general, the intensive courses focus on training units with functional exercises. A trainer is available at all times to support you with the exercises and to correct your postures and movements.

A combination of fitness, nutrition and fun will help you achieve your goals and become a better, fitter YOU.

In the fast world of today, it is most needed to slow down and reconnect with all aspects of yourself. You can expect a therapeutic yoga session following Hatha yoga or Restorative yoga as a baseline with clear and detailed explanations, working on alignment, functional anatomy, awareness of the 5 yogic bodies and healthy breathing. During the physical aspect, he invites his students to explore the subtler levels of our existence and to come closer to our true nature. The students learn to connect and work with Prana, the life energy that runs in and around the physical body, to observe their thoughts and emotions and to discover their virtues and personality treats.

Each group surf lesson with Surf Life Tenerife has a maximum ratio of 1 instructor per 6 students. With beginners, our instructors never get into the water with a board, but always wearing flippers on their feet, in order to help our students to get to the line up – where we start paddling – and push them into the waves.
We also organize group surf lessons for intermediate surfers!

Transfer service
As you are staying in Costa Adeje and the surf spots are in Las Americas (about 10 minutes drive), transfer service is also included for you. We will pick you up at your accommodation with our 9-seat surf van, take you to our surf school in Las Américas and take you back after the lesson.

Regardless of whether you want an intensive fitness holiday in Tenerife or a mix of fitness & relaxing on the beach: Costa Adeje has something to offer for EVERYONE. The Costa Adeje coastline is located in the south-west of the island and is home to many of the best beaches on the Canary Islands. For you, of course, this means 100 % holiday feeling. Relax on one of the many dream beaches such as Playa del Duque and enjoy the year-round warm water temperatures. In particular, the chic Playa del Duque enchants with its soft sand and beautiful clear water. If you want to be a little more active, you will also find numerous water sports activities such as jet skiing, windsurfing or parasailing on site. Futher well-known & beautiful beaches along the Costa Adeje include Torviscas beach, Playa del Duque, Playa Puerto Colón, Fañabé beach, Playa del Bobo, Playa de Troya and Playa del Camisón.
The two water parks Siam and Aqualand also provide some variety and action to your holiday. While the Siam Park is one of the largest and best water parks in Europe, the Aqualand water park scores with lots of exciting slides and an incredible dolphin show.

And if that is not enough, the Costa Adeje always has something to offer at night as well.
In Adeje, especially along the beautiful beach promenade, you will also find various bars, restaurants, boutiques and shopping centres. At night, this holiday spot comes to life with a great mix of international cuisine, lounge bars, music venues and more.

✓ Our tip: In order to get to know the many facets of the island the best way possible, a rental car is recommended. This will give you the freedom you deserve to easily discover the various beaches on the coastline, visit the El Teide National Park or take a day trip to Santa Cruz.

During this fitness holiday, you will stay at the Regency Torviscas Apartments & Suites. The 3-star hotel offers studio apartments and 1-bedroom apartments which recently all have been refurbished. All apartments are equipped with a living area, a kitchen and a large balcony with sea views. This is only available to you, so you do not have to share it with other travellers. The hotel also has a sun terrace, a small Spa centre, as well as a pool and a pool bar. The highlight of the holiday complex, however, is the amazing view. Enjoy an outstanding sea view and marvel at the beautiful summer sunsets.
In addition, your flat is about 20 minutes' walk from various sandy beaches such as the Playa Fañabé or the famous Playa del Duque.

Due to the physical nature of the fitness holiday, clients often ask us what kind of results they will see after their stay. This is a difficult question to answer because everyone is different. People have different metabolisms, and ultimately it comes down to how hard you work and how long you stay for. We are confident you will see an improvement, even if you go for a short period of time. Your stay will kickstart you into a healthier and fitter life, giving you a solid foundation on which you can continue your training back home. You will learn all the tools and techniques you need in order to continue to improve.

Can I join the fitness holiday even if I am travelling alone? Yes, of course. Actually, about 70 % of our guests travel by themselves. The island is a very friendly place with lots of open-minded people, so meeting other athletes and fellow travellers is super easy. We encourage you to just take a leap of faith and allow yourself to be surprised by an amazing fitness holiday.  
Do I need to bring anything in particular? We recommend bringing plenty of sportswear and a pair of training gloves. However, the hotel provides a laundry machine, so you can wash your clothes whenever necessary. Also, please bring sunscreen and a hat if you’d like to take part in the beach workouts. Most importantly, don't forget your ID / passport.  
Arrival Date and Travel Duration Minimum travel duration is 6 days / 5 nights. However, you are more than welcome to stay as long as you want - there is no fixed arrival date nor a fixed duration for this fitness holiday. Simply select your preferred arrival and departure date from the booking calendar, and proceed with the booking. *For stays longer than 30 days, check visa regulations if you are not an EU citizen.  
Program For this fitness holiday, there is not a fixed schedule nor a set program. This means that you can lie on the beach all day or take part in as many fitness sessions as you like. If you want to add additional components to your program (e.g. personal training sessions), you can do so during the booking process. You can also add additional services after the booking process is complete. We are very flexible and will assist you with anything you could want.  
Can I do other activities as well? Yes absolutely, one of the reps can help you add on trips locally. While one of our favourite activities is a morning hike to the top of Pico del Teide to catch the sunrise, there are so many more things to do in Tenerife, Spain. You can also visit the Santa Cruz, hike the volcano, go surfing and much more! There are endless possibilities. However, please note that if you want to climb to the top of Mount Teide peak (3715 m), you need to make reservations at least 2-3 months ahead.  
Availability On our booking calendar you will see all the dates we have available in the upcoming months. We make sure to constantly update all availabilities to make the booking process as smooth as possible. In general, if dates are shown as available, we can organize your holiday. However, please note that it is always possible that selected dates could become unavailable due to very dynamic booking procedures. For this reason, we will contact you via email and WhatsApp after your booking to confirm availability. This will take up to 48h. In case we cannot provide your chosen package in combination with a certain room at your requested time, we will offer you an alternative option: either in a comparable room or for a slightly different travel period. Of course, if we cannot provide you with a PERFECT option, you may cancel your trip at any time with no costs. Christmas & New Years Our fitness holidays are available 365 days a year - including Christmas and New Years. Please be aware that Christmas & New Years is the busiest time in Tenerife. So make sure that you book plenty early. We will do our best to assist you. Note that there might be a slight variance regarding the program on some days. For example, on Christmas Day, there will be no training or yoga, but we do make up for it with additional sessions throughout the week. The same is applicable for New Year’s Day.  
Booking Process After your booking, you will immediately receive an email from us summarizing your booking. You don't need to do anything at this moment. In the following days, we will check hotel availability, as well as all other aspects of your tour. After we confirm everything with our partners, we will send you another email to confirm the booking. This email also includes the invoice and a travel insurance paper. You can then easily pay your invoice within 14 days. Multiple payment options are available. If you want to pay for your trip later, just contact us — we will make sure to find a good option for you. Once we have received payment, you will receive another email from us with a confirmation of payment, a booklet including travel information, and more.⇾ At this point you can just look forward to your fitness holiday in Tenerife. *If you have any questions or want to change anything in regard to your holiday, you can always contact your personal travel agent.  
Visa If you are having an EU citizenship, you don't need any visa to travel to Tenerife, Spain. US and UK citizenship allows you to enter Spain for up to 90 days for tourism or business without a visa as Spain is a party to the Schengen Agreement. For all others: Please inform yourself about Visa restrictions depending on your home country. We are more than happy to assist you in any way we can.
